Transportation
The Phoenix metropolitan area offers several forms of public transportation. The most popular is the lightrail, which runs through several suburbs of Phoenix. Most importantly, there are lightrail stations at Sky Harbor Airport, along downtown Phoenix's central corridor (Central Avenue), and right next to our wedding venue. An all-day pass is $4.00, payable by cash or card at any lightrail station.
Here are some important stops to know:
- 44th St. & Washington: Sky Harbor International Airport, via the SkyTrain
- 3rd St. & Washington: Hyatt Regency Phoenix
- Roosevelt & Central: Our wedding and ceremony venue (Trinity Episcopal Cathedral) and our afterparty location (Bliss reBAR)
- Thomas & Central: Hilton Phoenix Suites
Arriving at the Airport (PHX)
After arriving at Sky Harbor International Airport,
- Make your way to either Terminal 3 or Terminal 4.
- Follow signs for the SkyTrain (free). Get off at 44th St. and Washington.
- The exit will take you directly to the lightrail stop at 44th St. and Washington. Board the westbound train to head into Phoenix. (Westbound takes you to Phoenix; Eastbound takes you back to the airport.)
- See below for two options to make your lightrail navigation seamless: the online Trip Planner and/or the free app Ridekick.
1. Trip Planner
Click here to plan trips around the Metro area using the lightrail. The lightrail stops running at varying times depending on the day of the week; please take note of those differences when planning.
If you're caught somewhere without transportation, please contact Ryan or Jessica for help. Alternatively, you can create a new Uber account and use the one-time code APPYCOUPLE for $30 off your first ride.
2. Ridekick
Ridekick is a free app available for Apple and Google/Android that allows you to plan your lightrail transportation on the go.
To download this app, please click either the iPhone (Apple Store) or Android device (Google Play).
